Winter Program/Safety Policies
Sugar Grove Families,
As we prepare to welcome you into our building for the Winter Program, our top priority remains the safety and security of our students, staff, and guests. We want these events to be joyful and run smoothly for our entire school community.
Please review the following VCSC safety policies:
Bag Policy: Backpacks and large bags are not permitted. Only small purses or clear bags may be brought into the building. Large diaper bags or medical bags are allowed but will be subject to search.
No drugs or alcohol, No smoking, vaping or tobacco products, No weapons, No outside food or drinkSecurity Support: Any event expecting more than 250 attendees requires a security officer. Metal detectors may be used at the officer’s discretion.
Sugar Grove’s Winter Program will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, with a 9:30 a.m. rehearsal and a 1:00 p.m. performance. Families may attend either the rehearsal or the performance. Please plan to attend only one so we can accommodate as many guests as possible.
Parking along the circle drive in front of the school will be available for reserved parking only. When parking in the neighborhood, please be mindful not to block driveways.
If parents wish to take their child home after the event, we will ask them to wait in the foyer at the main entrance outside of the cafeteria. Your child will be called down to meet you. If by chance, someone that is not the custodial parent will be picking your child up after the program, please notify the office or the teacher so they are aware.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
